The book, while not as fast paced as the movie, was far more personal as it reflected steve saint's thoughts, fears and anxieties concerning the waodani as well as that of his family in the midst of an environment. The casting is very authentic, with the missionaries looking like college students in the 50s. End of the spear is for the person who wants to learn more about how to live their faith out in a practical way.
